Statement of Faith

We believe that a genuine relationship with Jesus and his word has the power to transform lives and communities.

The Bible is the infallible Word of God

The Bible is the infallible Word of God, that it is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority with the answer and solution to all of man's problems. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21, Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 14:16

God is love and He loves all people

God is love and He loves all people. The Father sent Jesus not to condemn the world but to save it. Jesus Christ, His son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. He suffered and died for our sins, was resurrected on the third day, sits at the right side of the Father today and will return one for His bride.

John 1:1-18, John 10:30, John 14:26, 1 peter 3:2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 14:16

God has called us to remember the poor

God has called the church to preach the gospel to all nations, to also remember the poor and minister to their needs with joyful giving and practical service. This ministry is an expression of the heart of the Lord, and it is His desire for us to reach out to those who are widowed and orphaned and to help them in their distress.

John 3:16-17, Psalm 68:5-6, Matthew 28:19, 1 John 4:16, James 1:27

Love God and Love Others

All the commandments come down to this: We should love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves.

Mark 12:28-31
