Our Approach
Our mission is to holistically restore and empower poverty-stricken communities through the love of God.
We have rooted ourselves within these impoverished communities. We take a holistic approach toward restoration and empowerment. We accomplish this restoration through various programs we run in the places where the people need the most help.

Restoration & Empowerment
In the Village of Jeremiah 29:11, we have adopted 22 orphaned and abandoned children into our TCOAC family. Our medical clinic focuses on maternal care and pediatrics. The community empowerment program focuses on evangelism and empowering the local community to bring transformation. Our bible training program exists to strengthen the foundation of God’s truth in local leaders to establish His kingdom. In the future, we have plans to expand with a school, a mission base, and various income-generating projects.
TCOAC’s base is located on 10 acres of land in two nearby locations in the northern mountains of Burundi in a village called Bukeye (population 80,000). We have national staff and missionaries from around the world who have come and laid down their lives to serve in TCOAC. We believe in going low and slow in the community and building everything from the place of relationship. As a community, we pursue God’s love with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. In all we do, we want to love deeply and reveal Jesus to the poor, broken, and weary. Our approach is Jesus. Our destination, Jesus. Our solution is Jesus.
In a context where life expectancy is low, families bury their small children, wounds from civil war are near the surface, hunger and malnutrition are rampant, and education is abandoned, we have no other approach than to look to God. For He is the Creator and has a beautiful redemptive story to unfold here in Burundi. We are simply a part of that story in this small corner of the earth.
